Have you ever noticed the tendency to color other people’s perspectives–especially those you think are wrong–with labels like “bias” and “prejudice?”
Have you noticed that your vocabulary shifts when speaking of your own views; that you know call your perspective things like “outlook,” “viewpoint,” or, well, “perspective?”
Ahh, language games.

It’s true! I’ve noticed that a lot and I’ve been trying to … catch myself doing it. It can be hard though, I only really tend to notice when other people do it!
