For any who are interested in this Philip Pullman – Christianity conflict (I’m not sure that I am anymore), Christianity Today put up a an article called The Chronicles of Atheism. It’s written by a film critic (not a philosopher or theologian), which engages the thoughts and controversies fairly evenly, even if I thought that the article had a touch of a defensive tone.
The article’s author Peter Chattaway conducted an extended email interview with Pullman to prepare for the article (good to see someone going to the source!) and posted most of the interview on his blog. An interesting read for those who want to get some of Pullman’s view without it getting filtered through an article’s bias.
