My wife told me that my last post was difficult to understand. Well, that makes two of us, which is why I put it out there. Going back home after spending some time away has this funny way of making you think about all kinds of things about yourself, and I’m still trying to process some of them.
But, it’s good to be back in St. Stephen, despite my misgivings about being in a small town again after my reprieve in Winnipeg. That’s because being gone from St. Stephen made me realize how much this little place has to offer. The more relaxed pace of life, the ability to connect with people more organically, and the distinct personalities going stir-crazy together in this little disregarded town. For all that I might complain about this or that while I’m here, I miss this place when I’m not here.
